Squat over midfoot help please
i've been really struggling to keep the bar over midfoot on the way back up with it quite often moving forward. I'm trying to sit back as much as I can and keep tight while holding the chest proud but i just can't nail it.
I'm 90 KG and this is 87.5 KG.

Thanks Rip. So are you saying form is OK but weight isn’t heavy enough, relative to body weight, to ensure bar over midfoot?
I’m curious why it seems OK on some reps but not others?

Hi Pete,
I have limited space in my garage so filming isn't always easy. I've had to face the wall in order to get a rear quarter shot still using safety pins which isn't ideal but see what you think:

Widen your grip before you get under the bar. Get it in the right spot on your back, then bring your hands toward your shoulders, working to keep the wrists as flat as you can. Before each rep, lift the chest up and pull the elbows down a bit so the upper back is tight.
Lean over sooner and reach back with the hips.
Can I also suggest using any other video software, preferably YouTube, for form checks in the future. This is tough to use.
