A friend of mine refers to you as the messiah of lifting. Does anything stick out to you in this video and while we’re at it what would be your response to his comment of you?

Technique looks solid, at least what I can see in the video. Get smarter friends, people who don't say "Messiah." Play better music, and turn it off during the set so you can think more clearly. Rest longer between sets. Wear a belt so you can lift heavier weights. Eat more and gain 20 pounds immediately, and aim for 245 by the spring.

I never said "messiah" he's paraphrasing. He's not convinced he needs to gain weight though Rip. I've had this problem with a lot of other friends too. How do you convince them? I told him any average Joe can get lean but not many people can squat 600lbs.

He's running NLP and in the 400s right now so wouldn't you say if he gains weight a 600lb squat is definitely possible if not likely? And how long do you think it would take him to get there if he got up to 245? This might help motivate him.

This video is so weird. Why is it such high quality? Why is the camera constantly moving? It ends with that no spotter message, but why are spotters relevant if you are just going to dump the bar? And why are you dumping metal plates when a rack with safeties is available? Why is your youtube channel so weird and high quality, and each video says "premiered"? What the fuck it's all so fucking weird I can't take it.
