    Default Bench press form check

    • starting strength seminar april 2024
    • starting strength seminar jume 2024
    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    Set of 65kg / 143lbs

    Took me three tries to do 3x5 at this weight (I mainly blame insufficient eating), but I just want to make sure my form is alright before moving forward. Thanks.

    This weight is easy for you. Move forward.

    -Hands need to be a wider
    -Touch higher on your chest. It should be mid sternum, not low sternum.
    -Get your feet forward an inch or two.

    Thanks for the reply. Loaded 67.5kg today but reps were 4/3/3 (tried to focus on the problems you pointed out, but better than 4/1/1 the first time I loaded 65kg). I think my chest is my weakest point overall. Appreciate the input!!
