Thanks for taking a look. I'll let him know. Someone at the seminar mentioned that they were lightheaded and then started using smelling salts and that helped. I have no idea why that would help, but I don't think it would make things worse. Maybe we'll see how that works for him.

Unrelated to lifting, I faint easily from postural syncope. Some people don't, some people do. It appears his knees are locked hard the entire time, that would send me into a haze quickly -just a theory.
An incorrect valsalva may also be part of the problem.
I've coached him in person, and we've confirmed multiple times he's taking his valsalva correctly.
