You need to use 45lb plates or bumper plates. Using smaller plates puts the bar too low

    Hi Ryan,

My gym doesn't have bumper plates.

In case I can't handle 45 lb plates, could I stack the smaller weights to raise the height? Would that work?

And thank you for the feedback!

Should be ok but you probably won't die if you go right to 135 next workout. And I may as well say it now. Start eating more

Lol I got it! I'm dealing with some digestion issues at the moment, but once I get that all worked out I plan on increasing my calories.

Anyway, next time I will try 45 lb plates and take a video.

    Thank you.

Don't drop your hips when you get your squeeze. Keep them up. Also stand taller at the top when you lock out. If you have 45lb plates don't put any other plates underneath them. I'm assuming this gym does not have bumper plates?

It looks like you could stand to push your chest up and out (and thus bring the upper back into extension) a little better out of the bottom and DEFINITELY at the top. End the rep with the superman chest.
