    Default Deadlift form check

    • starting strength seminar april 2024
    • starting strength seminar jume 2024
    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    37 years old, approximately 188 pounds, 5’10”, working set of 5 at 295, my phone fell at the end of the second rep but I continued the remaining three reps, they felt equally as good/bad as these two. I lift late at night by myself so not assistance in form spotting/filming. Deadlifting 295 1x5 - YouTube

    You're a bit scrunched in your setup. I would take a slightly wider grip so you have a bit more room and can get your knees out more easily (while keeping arms straight). Try and get a bit more back squeeze and as you pull make sure the bar stays close, your hips don't drop and you get your knees out of the way (back) as the bar passes.
