    Hi, I am Doing the NLP at the moment.
    I do the 1.5 style press, I think have a problem, I send my hips back during the descent.
    I wanted to know if this technique is legal? How can I improve it if not and what should I aim for in terms of hips placement ?

    Legal? It's terribly inefficient, but if that's what you want to do, go ahead.

    Start all the reps at the bottom. This is described in the book.

    You didn't do it on your last rep. Maybe cue "getting ready to put it back in the rack."
