Hi. I need help with my deadlift.

    Here's the video:
    Deadlift 155kg x 5...round back? - YouTube

I hope I got the angle right this time.
Forgive the low light, if it is too dark, I will get more light next time.

    Here's my set up:

    Bar placed at mid foot
    Grab the bar
Drop my shin to the bar
    Squeeze the Chest
    And Pull.

I know I miss something somewhere.

Any useful advice will be appreciated.

    Thank You,

    Raymond

You're not getting the back in extension/flat at all. When you lift the chest up, it should start a "wave" of extension down the back, making it flat to your ass crack.
Check out the videos we have on YouTube about the low back, setting the low back, and how to control it.
As the chest gets lifted up, try and drop your dick between your legs so the lower back can extend. You can also think about dropping your belly to the bar as you lift your chest.
Lose the belt for now so you can feel what it's like to actually set the back properly. This is particularly heavy for you, but the spinal extensors aren't really getting much, if any, training benefit.

    Hi Pete,

Many thanks for your advice on the way I squat and deadlift.
So, I follow your advice and re-read the blue book, and re-learn the movement...hope to get it right.

For Squat, I narrow with my stance, do a 60kg for 5 reps and hope to reach the depth.

And for Deadlift, I try to grasp the back extension, try the "drop the dick between me legs", and/or "dropping the belly while lift my chest".
Doing that alone...man! 100kg for 5 reps is TIRING!

Anyway, here's the video. Hope I get it right, and as usual, your advice will be deeply appreciated. :-)
