    I guess i have been overly cautious with squatting depth due to l5-s1 herniated disc. I'll try to go as deep as i can next time, as long as my low back doesn't round.

    I think the problem is that a lot of people seem to be able to read the article, but are unable to really understand the point "a little bit of spinal flexion under a load is not an anatomical catastrophe."

    It's like people skip that part but read everything else.

    I worked as a journalist for eight years. I think I have put out ten times as many articles as Rip - we’re talking quantity, not quality, there were ten good ones total. From reading the comment section on those articles, I am fairly sure that 90 percent of people only read the opening paragraph, another five to eight percent skim through the rest, which leaves you with two to five percent of readers who have actually read the whole thing.
