had a go at a 200kg deadlift the other day after doing a set of 195kg for reps. this is the first time ive attempted this weight.

does this count as a good rep or do i need to hold longer at the top as i lock out for it to count?

It's a pretty soft finish. Pick your chest up and lock out your knees at the top. If you really have to question it, pause for a half second.

my knees are locked though and my chest is up albeit not for very long.

my question is would this count as a good lift or should i have held it up longer? i could have held it more but was somewhat fatigued from working sets i did before that.

That would have gotten red lights at any meet. The video is shitty, but I see no positive lockout.

Yeah, that wouldn't count. Gotta hold the lockout. Kudos on your determination though, hauling all that weight way out there and presumably hauling it back. GPP eh.
