    Hello,

I posted this on reddit and some guys are saying I'm doing a stiff legged deadlift, not a deadlift, and that my hips are too high/I'm using too much back.

    What are your thoughts? Thanks.

Looks like a correct deadlift to me. But Reddit? Do you also self-mutilate?

Thanks coach, I also thought the comments saying it was a stiff or using too much back were a bit out of place. I see too many people trying to squat the deadlift by dropping the hips down and making the torso vertical, usually at the cost of moving the bar forward and out of mid foot.

Unless you're getting feedback from one of the few SSCs over there, I'd be skeptical.
Also, Reddit users are the least valuable of any social network

Even if a SSC does give feedback on reddit, it gets swamped by a sea of broscience.

Yeah I quit wasting my time trying to help people on there.
