    Hello all,

    Would appreciate a form check on my deadlift; haven't gotten one yet.

    Deadlift
    135 x 5 x 1
    185 x 1 x 1
    225 x 1 x 1 (Video 1)
    250 x 5 x 1 (Video 2)

    Stance: Dr. Sullivan (SSC) put me in a frog stance ~4-5 weeks ago
    Grip: Hook

    Video 1: 225lbs (warm up, side POV)
    Video 2: 250lbs

    As fun as it is to watch a 45 second setup, consider trimming the beginning a bit next time.

    Rock back off your toes BEFORE you set your back, then stay there as you get the chest up and flatten your spine. You're on your toes and then rocking back as you start to initiate the pull. This becomes a bad habit over time and will potentially cause other issues down the road when this gets heavy.
    Knees are soft at the top. Lock it out with some authority. Bring your junk to the bar and lock your knees back at the top.

    Gotcha. Thanks, Pete. I tried rocking back off my toes and onto the middle of my foot and heel last Friday and it made a BIG difference in my ability to produce force.
