yea, i definitly noticed the wide stance and will correct that next session. also more toe angle.
ive never noticed much difference in performance between thumbs around and the ss grip. i used to do the ss grip and i would get some elbow pain when squatting, also the bar would tend to roll up my neck more often. sometimes ill do all my warmups that way and once i get heavy ill use thumbs around.
Well if you ever want to try the thumbless grip again, just make sure the grip is narrow enough and the elbows are pinned to the torso to prevent tendonitis.
