    Default Squat Grip and Shoulders

    I'm not sure how to get my grip in such a way as to have my wrists in the correct position. I know that they're bearing weight that they're not supposed to be carrying. It seems to me that my shoulders don't bend the same way that all of yours do. Any insights would be appreciated.

    Have you tried gripping the bar with thumbs over the top? You can try this stretch to help get your shoulders loosened up:

    I would also widen the stance, it looks a bit too narrow
