This is my workset pulling 147.5kg for a set of 5. I'm looking for clarification on my thoracic spine shape throughout the movement and if the curve in my upper back is considered bad form? I've seen different people stating that a rounded upper back doesn't pose any injury risk in the deadlift. Thanks!

Your upper back is slightly kyphotic. Are you consciously keeping your chest up?

Certainly trying to but also conscious not to make an attempt to over exaggerate it by diverting my gaze higher. Do you think it needs addressing/poses an injury risk? Deadlift is probably the only lift that I’ve never had any niggles or injuries associated with.

I think you have a slight kyphosis, and I think that this is just what your back looks like in loaded thoracic extension. Carry on.
