    Good day Mr Rip,
    Thanks for noticing the message
    Bench 237.5 x 5 5 RM
    Volume day 215 x 5 x 5
Doing some volume 5 x 5 on monday then thursday intensity day,

    Bench last accomplished Lp
    231 x 5 x 3
    Press 145 x 5 5 RM -

    Height 60 - 190lbs , i was 140lbs when i started
i have long arms and short torso, its like when i reach my chest my arms would flare, but the bar path still diagonal, when the weights gets heavy asf, having hard time to lockout when going to the final 4th and 5th rep i was using constant leg drive so i can drive my chest up,

I already reset my volume day and intensity day
I got too greedy on the weights
    Last attempt was
    220 x 5 x 5
242 x 4 (yes i failed the first intensity day)
Last rep of 5 but went up,

So i cut some weight, follow the practical programming 3rd ed ,

I did with my end of my Lp 3 sets of 5 , turn into 1 set of 5 In intensity day, then 90% of that is for the volume day,

    I really want to hit a 315 x 1, and a 275 x 5 on the bench,

Why pause? Because of the stability, i am using less weight but i can train consistently, i have a bit broader shoulder, but the principles and training ideas i got in Starting Strength, Thank God for a Mr Rippetoe and Starting Strength staffs 🙏, good day have a safe lift,

I wonder if programming tempo bench might be a better choice for him at this point? His form looked pretty good to me...

It's always going to be a good time, guaranteed, when you unrack the bar with your butt floating up in the air.
