Recently went to the Squat and Deadlift camp at SS Indianapolis where I had issues squat depth too low plus knee slide.

I think in this workout my depth is more accurate but knees still not anchored correctly. Would appreciate feedback on this (or anything else) as I'm still working to understand the knee slide issue.

All three squat sets same video, with chapters

    Set two

2 of the things that need to happen in the Squat:

1 - Knees and hips break at the same time
2 - The knees reach their forward most spot about 1/3 of the way down and stay there throughout the set

So your hips begin to move back first, and then the knees start to bend, causing the knees to slide forward throughout the rep. So you can think about getting the knees forward and out right away(to their spot) as you start to descend and holding them in place through the rep

Are you able to see your knees in your peripheral vision in the squat?

Closing my eyes and going off memory, I don't think so?

The gym I most often squat at has damn mirrors that distract me into looking up more often than I'd like to admit. Normally I'm trying to stare a hole into the baseboard.

I'll make more a notion to pay attention to this next time.

I would try to look low enough that you can see your knees in your peripheral vision and focus on keeping your knees out and then unmoving after the first half of the descent. You should be able to practice this on the warm ups and then maintain then on the heavier sets. You could also try a TUBOW on the warm up and see if you can maintain it, but you're biggest problem is awareness, not control from what I remember.

Still have trouble on heavy sets, but watching knees in peripheral vision is helpful. I think rep 4 here looks improved.

Depth is not convincing on this set.
