Hello Good Friends and Motivational Bullies

I would appreciate a form check on this DL. Getting back in to it after the summer.

    39 years old
    5'9, 185
    vulnerable back
3500 kcal per day, min 200 grams of protein, no real focus on the carbs/fat split

This is 245 after several months off (PR was 295x3. we've already established that these are women numbers, but it won't keep me from trying!)

Thank you and happy to be back

You are blending several of the steps a bit too much: Get in your setup position first (grip, knees, hips where they need to be), then set your gaze ahead and *then* flatten your back...slowly. Blending/rushing al this as you are you are knocking the bar in front of midfoot on some reps and not getting a great back squeeze. Also, I would not ignore your carb/ft split. You can't afford to let yourself consume too much fat at the expense of carbs if you want to make gains in the program.

Thank you so much coach! I did my best to incorporate that advice into today’s session. Here’s 255 with a particular focus on breaking down the steps and looking forward BEFORE taking my breath and setting my back. Hopefully it’s a step in the right direction?

    Thank you,
    Nic
