The book says I have to do cleans...so I'm trying to learn how to do the f%$#>&g clean.
Unfortunatly I have a standing vertical of -2, and all the coordination of a refrigerator falling off the back of a truck.
I am struggling to translate what the book and videos say into transitioning into the rack position. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

The bar gets from the mid-thighs to the rack position by "jumping" from the top of the pull. This requires straight elbows or the force transfer to the bar is diluted. Practice jumping from that position with straight elbows until you can rack it that way.

I'm not that strong yet. However I will try to get a better angle next time.

Your shoulders barely elevate at all during the jump. Straight arms the entire pull and at the 'jump' position think 'SHRUG!', then slam the elbows forward as you rack, like you're trying put them through wall in front of you.

A tip for watching your own power clean videos: Put the playback speed as low as it will go, and watch your elbows. If they bend at all before your feet leave the ground, you have an arm pull, as Rip observes above.

The video trick helps you catch that before you have the experience to spot it in real time.
