Rip, I have both 3rd edition of starting strength and practical programming and they are great books and a lot more in them than the original edition. Each time I go back a read a chapter that I have read before it feels like I am still learning something new or maybe it's me and I forget things too easily.

It's great the way it's put together that how 5 basic exercises can put on more muscle mass and strength than the hundreds of other exercises out there.

Most of all I love it's simplicity
