    Coach,

Just a quick note of thanks. I am nobody special. I don’t compete, I am not an athlete. I am just a 40 year old husband, dad and Special Education teacher. I learned the lifts from the book. I learned programming from the books and the forums. I have had exactly an hour and a half of coaching in my life. I train 3 times a week at night at my local Anytime Fitness. I have lost 79 pounds lifting weights. I have gained back 45 pounds lifting weights. I’ve trained through injuries. I’ve trained through illness. I’ve trained through cancer. Last night, I pulled 500 for 6. More importantly, over the course of time, training has given me the tenacity to consider pulling 500 as inevitable. Training has given me the mental edge to keep going. 3 times a week, I face the bar, no matter how I feel. 3 times a week, I inevitably win.

My sincerest thanks to you, Jordan and Andy. The guidance and knowledge on this board and in your books has made me a better man and a better member of our species. Thank you.
    Mark

    Superb!

As a side note, 500 for 6 reps is very close to 600 for a single. 580 maybe or therabouts.

    So that's next.
