Hey just thought I would share my experience with SSOC over the last few months:

I fell off of a ladder at the end of November last year and herniated 2 discs in my lumbar spine, this impinged a few nerves causing complete loss of control of ankle dorsiflexion and numbness down my leg. The pain was unbelievable, I could not sit, stand, lie down or walk without significant pain, I also could not walk without a significant limp. The doctors told me to do nothing and that it would take 3-6 months before the injury would settle and surgery may be required.
After having a chat to my coach and her team leader I was transferred one of SSOC’s injury specialists Will Morris (a doctor of Physiotherapy), he started rehab immediately. Every workout was tailored depending on how the last went, and the recovery has been amazing.
Within 8 weeks most of the pain was gone and I nearly had all function back in my legs and feet. My training is still tailored to me by my SSC/Doctor of PT and my back is the strongest it has ever been. I get to talk to and learn from a Doctor of Physiotherapist every session, who else offers anything like that?
When you sign up for SSOC you don’t just get one coach you get 60 coaches with a good portion of them being medical professionals like Doctors, Physiotherapists and Nurses.
