Iím 46 years old, 5í11 and 250 lbs, 4 kids ages 1 to 16 and been practicing as a CPA for almost 25 years. Iíve been lifting weights since I was 18 years old but only got into serious barbell training when I discovered Starting Strength about 4 years ago. After training myself for about a year and a half and running into roadblocks and issues, I found a Starting Strength Coach in the Seattle area, Adam Fangman, in April 2021. Though Adam moved away about a year later, we have continued with online coaching. This man has changed my life, I am super grateful for his knowledge, programming genius, and heís just an awesome dude and friend. Equally I would like to thank Mark Rippetoe and the entire Asgard / SS team. What wonderful contributions you have all made to the lifting community wide and far. Iíve been able to pass knowledge on to my 14 year old son and he will be so much stronger and better for it. Iíve included a recent milestone gym lift, getting 500x5 on the deadlift. I started at probably 200 lbs on this lift, and progress was fast and then slowed down a lot (as it does for everyone at some point). I owe this all to my Coach. Everyone out there - please stop fucking around and hire an SS coach. You will not regret it.

Thank you Cole for the kind words. I donít post much publicly and keep my training log in a Google spreadsheet between me and my coach. Send me an email if you are really interested and I can share a copy. I think my coach is a great programmer but also sees my lifts so regularly and over such a long time at this point he knows when to make a small change. cmrichardzag@gmail.com Also yes I did ask about Chaseís training log, totally lost that thread. Does he make anything publicly available?
