I think "elderly" was originally to mock the people who really did think that over-35 was old.

These days we have a fair number of actually-old lifters, which is awesome. As an early-50s youngster, I aspire to be strong someday, when I grow up.

I ski and one thing I have noticed over the last 35 years is the number of older skiers has gone up dramatically. We 55+ are not hucking cliffs or doing other jumps but I see lots of older skiers skiing the steeps at Whistler than I ever have before. They use to do discounts on lift tickets at 55 now it's at 65.

Funny that you say that. One of the regular lifters at the gym thinks he is old at 33. George Bernard Shaw said it best when he said that youth is wasted on the young. Or, as the old song said: "You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone."

Closing in on Geezosaur at 67 myself.

I petitioned stef about that a few years ago. Maybe a group effort might succeed.

    Wait-a-minnit! You're onto something here.

Somebody contact Nick Delgadillo. This could be huuuuge as a sticker or patch.

Way I figure it...you have to grow older...you don’t have to grow up.
