Ditto to all of the above. I'm 62 and really liking getting stronger.
I'm a dentist. I have in mind one of my long-term patients, been seeing him for more than 20 years. He's in his late-80s, gets around with a walker. He was once 6'8" tall, considerably shorter than that now. No telling how much barbell/resistance training would have helped him, could quite possibly still help him. Who knows?
