In the three week cycle the program calls for two sets on dead lifts day. I assume the second set is meant to be a back off set. Is that correct? I've been running the back off set on the DL at about 92% of the first set which I have been managing to get in all five reps week to week as I go up in weight but there is nothing left after that last rep of 5, 3 or 1 in the first set I couldn't get another rep in there if I tried especially the sets of 5. However there is some gas left in the tank at the end of the second set. Thoughts as to possibly running the second set a little hotter or would I risk overdoing it and not being able to recover. Perhaps it's one of those try it and see what happens.
