I'm a few months into SS and enjoying the crap out of getting stronger. I'm doing things at 59 I wouldn't have dreamed of at 49.
I don't understand why some friends say they can't squat or deadlift because their knees and/or back aren't strong enough. Ummm..... I squat and deadlift to make my knees and back (and other things) stronger!
It's a heady experience, no? Once you learn or are coached into squatting and deadlifting properly, and in good form, it's amazing how you can progress.
