Allow me to be the first to express the opinion of the silent majority.

    Bastards. The lot of you.

Also, for those who have trained at ok and better gyms before, do you miss the atmosphere? I'm not sure if I'd set up my own gym if it was just me training there.

You'd find friends who wanted to visit.

    My original set-up.

Expanded from a 12x14 space to a 12x23 space to add the platform and bumper plates.

Sold the Hammer Strength rack and Rogue flat bench for the Nebula rack and adjustable bench.

Picked up the Airdyne... I lovingly refer to it as the Devil's Tricycle.

Still looking for a GHD. One day...

My home "gym" of suck will make some of you feel better.

Here's where I actually do the work (it's not even level):

Most of you have garages bigger than my entire apartment. NYC should have TARDIS technology - bigger on the inside.

Yeah, my loft is like 100 square feet. We somehow have room to squat in the cage and power clean outside. These garages put it to shame.

... more level than this apartment I just rented. Had no idea how bad it was. Must get out of lease. Can not lift here. I'm bringing a laser level with me from now on when I rent something. This place is so bad that my bed slides down the room at night and I wake up in the closet. If I suddenly stop posting, it is probably because my apartment collapsed on me.

This is true. Since I set up my home gym I have friends coming round to train with me almost every session. In the very likely event that someone lives in an area without a serious lifting gym, chances are even if it's a garage/home gym it's the still best game in town.

Yeah, this. It's a picture just resting against the wall on top of the radiator. I've only been in this flat a while so I still need to put up my wall decorations. The rack got set up immediately. Priorities.

    Again, mirin' hard.

Space is at a premium here in Switzerland, particularly in the city. I was incredibly lucky to find a flat on the ground floor so I could set up my lifting stuff here. For deadlifts I just take the bar and plates outside to my tiny little patio area and lift there.
