Some of his nutritional info seems so far from what even "nutrition gurus" advocate. I'd like to see some research on these things. Sure the obvious like food is better than a shake is true but some is so nuanced there cant be that many viable studies backing it up.

I cant edit at this point, but i did find a study to refute his anti-broccoli etc stance.

Sure it's a pubmed article, but they carry more credibility than Stan does. I understand that in a world of trying to be the best you need to micromanage everything. Maybe this gave him the edge he needed or eliminated a factor that might be a negative influence.

Ehhh to a degree. If we trusted nutritional/exercise literature we'd view the knee extension as the pinnacle of strength expression. If we didn't trust nutritional science on the other hand, we'd still be eating out of aluminum cans...
