    Agreed. Sports Club on Astor has hex plates unfortunately.

    They should have at least one pair of bumpers you can put on before hex plates, but that is basically every NYSC.

    Once you get the 3rd or 4th hex plate on the bar, the ricochets off the floor arent that much of an issue.

    Check out Work Train Fight. It's on Broadway not far from you and they've got a few racks and a deadlift platform. There's a SSC who coaches there.

    Btw, two guys in this thread who are supposedly New Yorkers made the mistake of listing the avenue first rather than the street when naming an intersection. I.e., you say "Ninth and Broadway" or "14th and 2nd", not the other ways around.

    There aren't that many combinations in New York where this is a problem.
