Just some light oil (WD-40, CLP, etc) occasionally. If you decide to paint them first remove the oil with hot soapy water.

Bump, with info for Christmas delivery: I got my first “please deliver by Christmas” request of the year today. I have plenty of plates in stock and am current on shipments. Mailed some today, so if you paid but haven’t received you’ll have them by Friday/Saturday. I can’t control the post office, but my best guess would be that if I receive payment by 12/18 you’ll have them by Christmas. I will mail all orders daily from now until 12/20 (normal is 1-2 times per week).

Please don't order KG plates yet - I'm just having the first batch cut. I don't want to mix up shipped-LB orders and unshipped-KG orders. The price is TBD, because I need to verify they'll fit in the same box and, if not, whether I'll include fewer plates in the same box or more plates in a bigger box. It will be in the same ballpark as the LB plates for price.
