As soon as the temperatures drop and the November time change occurs, I get super lazy and super winter depressed. Every. Fucking. Time.

I am originally from houston and now live in the midwest. Cold in houston was was like 75. I don't want to be such a bitch. How do I adjust to this permanently?

Get up, go outside, and take a deep breath of the brisk Autumn air and look at the leaves. This should wake your ass up.

I'm the exact opposite, the heat wipes me out. my best training is always in the winter. I don't run heat or ac in my garage.

When it gets dark at 5pm you just feel like it super later and your body starts to shut itself down. I'm fighting it right now, especially with the time change and the little one teething.

Yep, me too. The heat wrecks my appetite as well.

Trying to find the will to train when my shed is 110+ and I've been outside all day already makes for an unhappy programnotdoer.

I judge temperature in winter by whether I'm still wearing a t-shirt during the first work set but it is probably a balmy 50f in winter at training time where I live.

I find if I just get my butt out the door or just get that first warm up in the garage with the bar I can keep going.
