Default Unusual Circumstances...Will This Program Work?

Hello everyone. I am new to the SS forums. I don’t have access to a squat rack or a bench rack for bench presses, so I did some digging around in the archives and found a program template Rip recommended to someone with the same problem as me. Just wanted to get your guys’ opinions, do you think this template will work?

    Workout A

    3 x 5 heavy DL, 3 x 5 Press

    Workout B

    3 x 5 light DL (70% of heavy DL), 3 x 5 Floor Press.

I would run the program in A/B/A format, with the exception being the start of a new week, which I will consider to be Monday. So two training weeks would look like:

    A/B/A/A/B/A

I would also be adding 10 lbs. to Heavy DL and 5 lbs. to Press and Floor Press each time I train.

Thank you all for your input.

    Everything works, but not forever.

Well, do you think I have at least a few months with this program? I ran 6 weeks of the original 3 x 5 SS LP until I lost access to a gym with a squat rack.

If you don't have access to a rack, then how do you intend to do floor presses?

Off the end of a bench. Saw it on Youtube.

Also, meant to say that I'll be adding 5 pounds to Heavy Deadlifts and Press/Floor Press each time I train.

Look, I'm a big believer in floor presses and think they're a great exercise, but please don't do that.

I did floor presses for a while a few years back without a bench. But not that way. I had plenty of room under the bar loaded with 45's to do a kind of rolling pullover to get the bar over the sternum. But I did it by pulling/rolling the bar over my head and neck. Lotta room and no knurl marks on my gut. That video really is a bad idea though, I quite agree.

Also, I never tried it with octagonal plates. I would imagine that result in a massive fail.
