    Default Squat Depth Reference Points

    I know this has been beaten to death on text, but I have not been able to find a picture illustrating the reference points for the top of the patella and the approximation of the acetabulum except with the use of arrows which do not pin point the reference points. I even discussed this with a SS coach in person with The Book, and yet, I'm still doubting my understanding.

    Are the red dots the correct reference points? If not, can you draw them with crosses or dots?

    Your dots are off a little, but that is a below parallel squat. I don't have the time to find a nude model on which we could note the relevant landmarks. Here's a quick and dirty way. Look at the leg and note that the thigh is not horizontal. That is another way you can look at this.
