I can't see shit. Looks like a squashed miniature squirrel.

It was a tree frog. It looks squashed, but it wasn't.

Long, hard workout. First squats were hard. Bench took me a few sets to get the groove right. Second squats were even harder. Took good mornings nice and easy. My back and hamstrings were already beat up

After work last night I went to a friend's house for a bonfire. I sat down in a chair by the fire for about 45 minutes. When it was time to leave, I stood up to walk to the car. I didn't make it 10 feet before my quads started cramping severely. The 100 foot walk back to the car was probably the most grueling experience of my life. I shouldn't use the word walk though, because it was more of a ridiculous hobble more befitting of a crippled ape. Everyone else was laughing their asses off, but I finally made it to the car. I think it's safe to say that I was nowhere near prepared for the effects of yesterday's squats.

Deadlifts to knees were hard. Threw up in my mouth a little. Bench went well. Got to try out my new straps for the deadlifts from boxes. They worked pretty well. During the heavier sets they were sliding a little, but maybe I'm just not used to using them yet. Took the assistance pretty easy today.

The cool straps, are they made from nylon webbing? How do they compare to other straps you used in the past (if any)?

They're the first straps I've ever used. They appear to be made from nylon.

Bench was easy. Squats didn't go so well. My form was too wobbly. Really wasn't feeling too strong today.

I had a long nap this evening, so this was a late session. Took my time. Squats went quite well. Didn't feel easy exactly, but I was feeling pretty strong. The weights moved slowly but smoothly during the second squat session. All in all a good workout.
