Well shit.....I had just come around to thinking you weren't half bad. I thought my response was as equally worthless as your question. Then again, if you simply insist on shitting on every post of mine in here, please accept my most cordial invitation to go fuck yourself.

You said you may try for a triple of 405, so I was curious why your log says you did 405, then 425, and 405 a few more times, all singles. If you didn't feel up for the triple, I thought I'd see a double, for instance. No shitting intended.

Well, son of a bitch, I did say that. Man, my apologies. Aren't I the asshole right now?

As it turned out today, I just felt like seeing where I was for a 1RM. I may have had another 10# in me, but I was happy with being back up to 4 and a quarter. I am still a ways off my all time PRs but it is nice to be moving back towards them.

    It's all good.

I was looking through your other log very quickly and I saw that you had weighed in the 170's and I know you said you're currently about 50lbs underweight right now. Had you been up to 200lbs? Do you mind if I ask what your all time PRs are? Does your training get disrupted quite a bit?

    Best of luck

I briefly got to 174 while I was deployed, but I went out on a long mission, lost a bunch of weight, and I never really recovered. I'm getting better at training regularly, but I am currently in a top 5 physical therapy school and training gets interrupted fairly often with school. Then you add in the wife and three young boys, and they compete for time that could otherwise be devoted to training.

My alltime PRs are 475 squat (unofficial as depth wasn't verified. It felt short). 415 deadlift. 325 bench. 175 press. 255 power clean

I consider myself being 50# underweight simply because I am skinny and frail looking. Plus, adding a decent amount of weight would make my strength ceiling much higher.

Are you trying to change this, or accepting it?
