Squats @ 375 lbs-5,5,5,5,5 Rpe 9.0 but tiring. Gym was hot.
Bench @ 295 lbs-5,5,5,5,5 Rpe 9.0. Very tired by this point.
Barbell rows @ 215 lbs-8,8,8 Rpe 9.0

Sumo Deadlifts @ 430 lbs-5 PR. My right thumb kept getting caught on my thigh. I think I'm going to table the sumo deadlifts again. When I did them a few years ago, I used mixed grip and my right hand was supinated and was fine. I've switched to hook grip a few years ago. I broke my right wrist 3 times as a kid, the last time needing surgery to graft part of my hip bone into it. It healed pretty well but doesn't have a full range of motion. In any event, I'm having an issue on sumo deads that my right thumb and fingers are getting pulled open by my thigh near the top of the lift.
Deads w/ straps @ 430-5,5 Rpe 9.0 but exhausted by the end. Long breaks of 7-10 minutes.
Close grip bench @ 215 lbs-8,8 Rpe 8.5

Aug 14, 2018 This is week 6 of Andy Baker's HLM monthly programming. I suspect this will be the toughest week as the volume starts to drop next week as intensity continues to increase.
Squats @ 385 lbs-5,5,5,5,5 Rpe 9.25. Long rest periods of 7-9 minutes. Very tiring.
Bench @ 305 lbs-5,5,5,5,5 Rpe 9.25. Also long rest periods.
Barbell rows @ 225 lbs-8,8,8 Rpe 9.25
Chins-12,11. I was just exhausted by this point.

This was one of the toughest and longest sessions I've had in years. After this week though, the volume should drop and hopefully it will get better. I don't think I could do many more sessions like this.
Squats @ 335 lbs-5,5,5 Rpe 8.0
Press @ 180 lbs-5,5,5,5,5, Rpe 9.0
Deadlift @ 445 lbs-5,5 PR. This was a 10 lbs pr and it was sets across instead of just a single set.
Deadlifts w/ straps @ 445 lbs-5,5. PR w/ straps. Rpe 9.75. I was totally fatigued by the end. Just exhausted. Rest periods of 7-10 minutes between deadlift sets. My left hamstring also seems to be a bit "off". I don't think it's anything more than a mild strain.
Close grip bench @ 225 lbs-8,8. Rpe 9.0 This session took over 2 hours.

Bench @ 315 lbs-4,4,4,4,4 Rpe 9.25 Harder than it should have been. Bar felt uneven, maybe some of the weights on one side outweighed the other by a bit.
Barbell Rows @ 235 lbs-6,6,6,6 Rpe 9.25

Deadlifts @ 460 lbs-4,4 Rpe 9.0. I thought this was a PR but apparently I did 465 a year ago. Still a pr for reps across.
Deadlifts w/ straps @ 460 lbs-4,4. PR. Haven't spent as much time using straps, hence the pr.
Close grip bench @ 235 lbs-6,6 Rpe 9.0
