I was out of town for a few days and didn't get a chance to lift.

    Nov 12, 2014

    Squat, wrapless @ 425 lbs-2 RPE 9.
Squat, wrapless @ 405- 2,2,2 RPE 9.5 First set was tough because I let 2nd rep drop all the way atg. 2nd set was fine and 3rd set was getting tough.

Bench, paused, @ 330 lbs-2 PR. RPE 10. This was harder than I thought it should be. I have noticed that paused bench is much more fatiguing than touch and go on multiple reps.
    Bench, paused @ 310 lbs-2,2,2 RPE 9.5

    Close grip bench @ 275 lbs-4 RPE 9
    Close grip bench @ 255 lbs- 4,4 RPE 9

I'm planning on NASA Kansas Regional on Nov 22, so I'm going to keep volume pretty low at this point to ensure recovery.

Deadlift @ 475 lbs-2 RPE 9-9.5 I'll probably use this for my opener. It's plenty easy as a single, pretty much a heavy warmup.
    Deadlift @ 455 lbs-2 REP 9

Touch and go bench @ 330 lbs-3. PR RPE 9-9.5
Touch and go bench @ 315 lbs-3. RPE 9.5 (I took a pretty short break after 1st set at 330).

    Press @ 185 lbs-3. RPE 9
    Press @ 165 lbs-3. RPE 8.5

    Bodywt @ 225 lbs

Still planning on Nov 22nd meet assuming weather is ok to drive there. I just wanted to work up to a heavy-ish single on each lift, approximately 90-95% RM. I will probably subtract 20 lbs from each of these for openers for Saturday.

Squat, wrapped, @ 440 lbs-1. RPE 9. Not too bad but I really could still use a bit more recent wrapping practice.

Pause Bench @ 340 lbs-1. RPE 8.5-9. Paused PR. Stayed tight and it felt pretty easy.

Deadlift @ 495 lbs-1. RPE 9. Bar speed was quick.

    Bodywt @221 lbs

I've decided not to do Kansas regional meet. Although weather looks generally ok for Saturday, I just don't really feel like the 5+ hour drive each way to compete at a tiny meet. I looked for a closer meet and found an unsanctioned meet in Omaha but I missed the entry deadline by several weeks. I will instead just do a mock meet this Saturday to test my new maxes. I am just going to plan on my next meet in March for the NASA Iowa State meet.

Squat- warm up to 385 lbs. It actually felt a bit heavy
    Deadlift-warm up to 405 lbs
Bench- warm up to 315 lbs

Bodywt @ 221 lbs. This was with no dehydration at all so it would been easy to make 220 lbs with a 12 hour weigh-in.

    1 RM Testing/Mock Meet

    Squat w/ wraps @ 430 lbs RPE 8.5
    Squat w/ wraps @ 465 lbs-1 RPE 9-9.5
Squat w/ wraps @ 495 lbs-1 Big 25 lb PR. RPE 10. I barely got this up and it was starting to tilt to right but I managed it. I was spent after this effort though.

    Bench, paused @ 320 lbs-1 RPE 8.5
    Bench, paused @ 345 lbs-1 PR RPE 9-9.5
Bench, paused @ 360 lbs-0 Failed without any movement, at least in part because I brought bar down two low on chest.

I could tell I was pretty wiped out at this point so I knew I only had 2 deadlifts in me.

    Deadlift @ 495 lbs-1 RPE 9
Deadlift @ 545 lbs-0 Got it about mid-shin before it stopped. I don't really know if I could have had it if I was fresh. My pr is 530 so it may have just been too much weight today. This was pretty disappointing as I really felt my deadlift was better.

Total here would have been 1335 lbs

Thanks guys. I debated going for 500 instead of 495 since it was so close on the squat. I'm glad I stuck w/ 495 as I just barely got it. I intentionally took a week off to give myself some recovery. I stopped using creatine, drank zero protein shakes and just relaxed. I thought I would like it but by day 4 I really wanted to lift and it was driving me crazy to just sit around. I got back to it yesterday.

    Bodywt @ 222 lbs

Squat @ 405 lbs-4 RPE 9.5 This was harder than it should have been.

Bench, paused, @ 305-3 RPE 9.5 I wanted to get 4 but my setup was awful- no arch with a totally flat back.

3 count pause bench @ 245 lbs-5. RPE 8. This was really too easy.

    Deadlift @ 435 lbs-4. RPE 9.5 Tougher than anticipated.

    Chins @ bodywt-10
Chins w/ 45 lbs- 3,4. Too much time off chins.

    Floor press @ 275 lbs-5. REP 8.5-9

Paused squats off pins (beltless) @ 315 lbs-5 RPE 9.5

Bench, Touch and Go @ 305 lbs-5 RPE 9.5. I wanted 6 so this was a fail, especially given that I did 315 a few weeks ago.
Bench, touch and go @ 275 lbs- RPE 9.0 I'm pretty disappointed by this. I'm guessing the week off had a detraining effect.

    Press @ 165 lbs-6 RPE 9.0
    Press @ 135-6 RPE 9
