    Russell. I now have a kilo bar and pound plates. I don't even know how much I was snatching. I think I stopped at 98? Still wimping out on the very very end of the last pull and not getting my chest all the way through. That and I'm still power snatching 90% of my attempts. Cleaned up to 153 - 8 lb PR! and 158 - 13 lb PR! Failed 163 a few times and we called it. On all my fails I'm actually pulling it high and getting all the way under it, but then my fingers are slipping off in the rack, and the bar is falling and slamming the front of my arms. Bruises everywhere!

    (But OMFG is having an actual Oly bar AMAZING!!!!!!)

    Pull centric week since my shoulder was wrecked after yesterday's session.

    Snatch: One day I'll get under the bar instead of pulling it 6.5 feet in the air. One day.

    Just going to pretend the last few days of lifting never happened. The only remotely positive thing is that I think I've figured out how to be slightly aggressive during the catch on my snatch. Not even lifting today because fuck it. (Also, high rep RDLs seem to make my shoulders sore. Weird.)

    Session with Russell on three hours of sleep. I really have to get my sleep schedule flipped back around so I feel better and can train in the mornings again. It got all messed up when it was 110 degrees, and I couldn't sleep until around midnight when it cooled a bit.

    Worked up to 108 snatch. Failed at 113. It's so mental for me. Occasionally when its heavy I can actually get super low under the bar but then I lose all tightness and it flops. I also seem to have trouble focusing on both stomping my feet to drop, and locking out aggressively. It's one or the other!

    Cleaned 153, failed at 158 (my PR) 3 times. I'm still catching it just slightly forward so it's slipping and slamming my shoulders and fore-arms. Yay for bruises on my bruises. I look like someone is physically abusing me at this point. I actually caught the last try very securely/upright...with one hand on the bar. Blagh.

    For some reason I couldn't get my log to update last week. Tuesday and Thursday went really well. I missed Friday and Saturday - Friday because my skin hurt to the touch or when a fan would blow on it (it's happened often before, usually on my forearms and legs, but was worse this time. I realize that it's not good.), and Saturday because I... have no excuse. I just didn't. Got under a lot of snatches today, surprisingly. I worked up to 117 snatch for a 2 lb (yes seriously) PR!!! And a 168 clean for a 10 lb PR!!!! I'm getting under the bar much more upright and losing way less reps forward now. Cleaning only 10 lbs less than bodyweight now! YAYY!!!! Now if I can only start working on jerks soon...

    Last night - So I found out mid-workout from my gym owner that my coach is moving 2 hour away. Yeah. Kind of killed my focus with being pissed, freaking out, and crying. Really not sure what I'm going to do about this right now.

    Strict press: No shoulder pain. Pretty awesome.

    Snatch up to 123 - 6 lb PR and I got to use the big plates! Woo! Still power snatching everything. Whatever.

    Clean - Up to 173 PR! then 178! 10 lb PR from last week and over bodyweight!

    Light jerk triples @ 53, 73, and 83 to test out my shoulder before we add jerks into my programming. Felt a little uncomfortable but no sharp jolt of pain like before.
