Monday July 14
Squats - lots
DB OH Press - first 3 reps strict then the last 3 I used a dip - 85sx6x4
BB Rows - between 135-185 for sets of 6 for about 10 min
Wednesday July 16
Squats - a few less than Monday
Bench - 185x3x3
Chins - lots
Friday July 18
Front Squats - 310x5, x4x2
DB OH Press - same as Monday
Monday July 21
Squats - lots
Bench - felt terrible so I did 185x8x4, x6x2
BB Rows - up to 185 then did sets of 6 for about 10 min
Not too much going on. Just trying to push my front squat pretty hard for a while. Been pretty busy with school so other than that I'm just getting some blood flow going on the other days.

Friday July 25
Front Squat - 315x5, x2x3, 225x5
Bench - 205x8x2, x6, x5x2
Snatch Grip Pulls - 315x3x5
Decent training day. Finally got in an entire workout w out having to drop a deuce after squatting haha. Just playing around w bench again. From here on out, at least for a while, Monday is going to be bench day and Friday is going to be oh press day. Still going to pull on Friday and alternate between snatch grip pulls and rack pulls but I'm going to switch up the intensity and rep scheme some.

Another week of two training days, the semester is winding down so hopefully 3xs a week will be the norm again soon.
Monday July 28
Squats - lots of triples going from 315 to 365
DB OH Press - 85sx5x4
Bent Over Rows - sets of 6 from 135 to 195, just did a set every few minutes for about 15 minutes
Friday August 1
Front Squats - 320x2x4, 255x5
Bench - 205x8x4, x7
Deads on a 2 in lift - 365x3x5

Taking summer classes? Those take up a lot of time. I took one once, think it was 4 lectures/week, each 3 hours long or something along those lines.

Yeah, because this is a condensed program we have a full course load during the summer (I'm in Florida during the summer and can barely enjoy the weather haha). The courses weren't that bad, but we had a major group project in just about every class so that was probably the biggest pain in the ass. Fortunately this up coming term is half class work and half clinical rotation so I'm pretty stoked about that.

Good training week over all.
Monday August 4
Squats (decided to mess around with my knee wraps) - 405x1, 425x1, 405x3x2
DB OH Press - 85sx3, 85x5x3 (slight leg drive), 55sx10
BB Rows - bunch of sets of 6 between 135 and 195
Wednesday August 6
Squats - 275x3x3
Press - 135x3x3
Chins - did sets for about 10-15 min
Saturday August 9
Front Squats - (all warm up sets felt terrible but they did feel better after I dropped back down from that top set) went up to 335x1, 315x1x5 (tried to make each rep faster than the rep before)
Bench - 205x8x5
BB Rows - (was going to pull but needed to get in a little back work since I was going on an afternoon fishing trip with some friends) same as Monday lots of sets of 6 between 135 and 195 for 10 min
Good training week over all other than front squats feeling terrible until after that top set. Going to squat again this week with knee wraps just for fun and I'll probably do some doubles on front squats at the end of the week. One more week of actual class then a few days of finals and I'll be heading home after that.

Monday August 11
Squats - 425x1x3 (all wrapped and belted), 315x5 (slow and controlled, no belt)
DB Oh Press - 85sx3x2, slight leg drive 85sx5x2
Bent Over Rows - between 135 and 205 for sets of 6 for about 15 min
Wednesday August 13
Squats - 275x3x3
Press - 135x3x3
Chins - lots for about 15 min
Friday August 15
Front Squats - 325x2x3, 250x4 (last set all were done w a 3 second pause)
Bench - 235x1 paused, 205x8x5
Snatch Grip Deads - 315x3x5
Solid training week overall. The wrapped squats on Monday felt pretty good. Each single was faster than the one before it. DB pressing and bench pressing are starting to feel better. On bench it usually takes a few sets to get into the groove and I tend to feel the strongest around set 3. The last set usually feels better than the first 2 sets. Only one more training session down here before heading home for break. Glad this semester is coming to a close. Had a few interesting classes this term but all the group really took away from them. Looking forward to getting home to see Gillian, Mac, Josh, and Shelley.
