Thanks Nick I appreciate it! Do you still play? I don't play nearly as much as I used to, mainly just Mondays at the club I used to caddy at where they let me play for free. Can't beat it!

You have some great goals, FSED! But at 6'5" and 266, you probably could stand to put on a few pounds!?

A 700lb dead would be absolutely awesome! Not to mention your other goals...

Hi Oldster thanks for the message! I figure why not shoot for goals that are difficult to reach. I remember just a few years back the idea of deadlifting 500+lbs seemed totally unimaginable. Two weeks ago I PR'd a solid 515 DL just rocketed up. No straps or belt or anything, just chalk. Oh I'm actually 6'6", not to correct you or anything. Lol. Yeah I could probably do another GOMAD run and put on 20-30 lbs of good weight within a few months, but I'm holding off on that for a while. Lol. If my lifts begin stalling hardcore I might revisit the idea though...

I knew squats would be tough today after maxing on DL 3 days prior. I really didn't have that good bounce/stretch reflex at the bottom of the squat. The set where I failed to get 1@325 I got halfway down and knew there was no way I could do a solid below parallel squat. Last Monday I got 325x5x5 so I know it was residual DL fatigue that prevented me from banging out those same numbers today. Oh well, eat, sleep, recover and get it done next time. Jello legs never felt so good. Stay strong.

Wow! You nailed a 515 dead for more than one single! Very very nice.

Cool stuff man. The perfect way of looking at the iron game.

I'm happy to have knocked out the OH press 5x5@195 today. I held up the last rep of the last set at lockout for 15-20 seconds. I'm sure that took some energy from my benching later in the workout but it feels so damn good to press that weight overhead and hold it there. I did watch a lot of Pyrros Dimas youtube clips today so that gave me some good motivation. lol
