    Totally Tuesday

    Squats (no belt): 245x5x3
Knee has felt fine. I felt it on one or two reps. They were strong sets. I didn't record because i was on the phone the entire workout. Literally, the entire time.

2 count Bench (no belt): 205x4x4
This was hard but all about RPE 8.5. Not a bad performance for me.

Good enough workout but what should be about an 1.25 hours was a 3 hour workout due to business calls. It was nuts.

THREE DAYS TILL WICHITA FALLS BIACHES!

    WICHITA FALLS!!!!

    Friday...

Deads: 405x1@6-7 and then 425@8 and then 385x3x6 (6 triples)
This was pretty damn good. 425 moved really well which was promising and so Wichita Falls. 385 was easy until the last set when I got tired.

    Bench: 235x1@8 and 210x3x4 and 215x3x2
Very smooth single and the triples were easy enough I raised the weight....

    WICHITA FALLS!!!!

    Part 2

    Monday...

    Squat: 275x5x3
This was good. I think I put the belt on.

    Slingshot bench: 245x1, 275x1@9, 245x5 and 250x5x2

    OH Press: 135x5x3
First time pressing in quite a while. I was waiting for Wolf

These two workouts deserve some write up, I mean really, Wichita Falls!!!, but no time! I'm going to do a short write up of the entire weekend which again was pretty fabulous.

I've turned into a such a lame logger. My training isn't much better!

    Saturday the 10th

    Squat: 275x5x3
Pretty solid although my knees hurt the next days. Both of them. Uncool.

    Bench (no belt): 205x6x3
Shorter rests, moved fast. Short on time.

    Monday the 12th... MA Birthday

    Deadlift: 365x5 and 375x5x2
This went reasonably well. Everything was fast and on the final set I definitely was fatigued.

    Tuesday the 13th

    Squat: 285x5x3
Pretty solid although my knees hurt the next days. Both of them. Uncool.

    Competition Bench: 200x5x4

Didn't get back into the gym and then I went away for the weekend so first day back in the gym until last night... yes another week off. Had little time and back wasn't great so I just benched...

    Tuesday the 20th

Competition Bench (all paused w/ belt): 205x5x6
Solid. All sets about 8.5RPE except the last which had 1 rep left. Lots of rest and I was on a conference call the entire time.

I'll squat and/or deadlift and bench tomorrow-- way too long between squats again so I'm starting over on a linear again.

Hey man. I figure it would be late February or early March. I'm going to want to try a long cycle to ease up the intensity in two parts. But I haven't seen anything on the USAPL calendar that is calling me yet... We'll see-- there should be a lot more meets next year. Hopefully including one in Queens, NY....

    What about you?

    Friday Catchup...

    Squat: 235x5x2
Reboot #3. I went for 2 sets to minimize the soreness. All-in-all felt fine.

    TnG Bench (no belt): 205x6, 7, 9@9.5
This was interesting because I decided to just keep going up in reps and ended up with way more than I thought I could do. I may start doing more rep outs just to get a better feel for my RPE.

Conditioning: HIIT-- 5 rounds of :20/1:40 on the ERG.
    Whaaaa?

    Sunday

    Deadlift: 365x5x3
Taking it easy here as the low back has been funky this week. These were smooth and easy enough.

    Feet up bench: 185x8x4
Chose this new exercise (it's in my original program from Jordan) to put less tension on the back. VoumezZz.

Hit the Russian bath house afterwards with my wife for some steaming, sauna and hot tub action. Good stuff.

Nothing on the radar. I'm in the same boat. I just had a poor showing at raw nationals, and want to give myself a long stretch of productive training before I compete again.

That's what I say now but I tend to get the bug to compete. I'd like to do Paulie's Spring meet. That could be the next one.

    Tuesday at CFSBK

Met my friend and former lifting partner David at CFSBK. Haven't worked out there in good long while, but luckily my shoes were still there! Great to see David who moved to Germany almost a year ago...

    Squat: 225x5x3
I decided to lower the weight and add the 3rd set. These were OK, but I'm still feeling a sway. My knee felt Ok, but not great.

TnG Bench (no belt): 215x5x3 and 185x12
I just matched David's weight and shot for RPE 8.5. The first set was most difficult. The rep out was cool. Haven't done that in a long time.

Fun little workout. Good to see some friendly faces and good friends...

Rob. I need to know your next meet too. I would like to actually see you lift irl and not on your phone after the fact or on the instafacetube. I keep missing your lifting.
