    Squat w/ TUBOW
    185x5x2

    Bench
    120x3x3 1st Rep Paused

    Power Clean
    165x3x5
    Dear Diary,
    My Power Cleans sucked today.
Rack speed goes from "kinda" to "totally" shitty by the third. Felt so good on Monday!
    This is my 2nd set

No time for pull ups. Gunz are feeling neglected.

Forgot to log conditioning on Tuesday:
    C2 :30w/1:30r x 6
    Airdyne: :20w/1:40r x 6

    Friday:
    Squat
    240x5 PR!!
My chin came up on most of these which killed my hip drive on a couple, so I had to grind them out. But overall totes jazzed considering my old 1RM was 240# after smolov.

    Bench
    135x3 Paused 1st Rep - PR
*Felt solid so I went up
    140x3 Paused 1st Rep - PR!

    Dead
    280x3

    Weighted Pull-ups
    10x5x3

Overall a really great training day for intensity. 2 weeks out from my meet.

Looking good headed into the meet!

    I'm curious, what's your lifting background pre-powerlifting?

    My history....
Well, I pretty much have zero "athletic" background, aside from Junior Year in High School when I tried to prove I wasn't a total waste of height and played basketball. Totally failed, hated it.
Until I started CrossFit 4 years ago, I was really just a physically irresponsible soft girl who liked watching SVU while on the elliptical. Started CrossFit a little over 4 years ago, opened up a CrossFit gym 3 years ago, toned down the CF douchery (although I'll never complain about the lack of shirts in CrossFit) and got more into Oly in the last year. Competed in a USAW meet earlier this year. Now I want to teach everyone how to lift properly and take responsibility for their strength so they can have the best asses possible to make the world a better place. That's about it in a little nutshell. I'm really enjoying powerlifting right now, but I can't decide if I want to compete in atother Oly meet after my PL meet or go for another PL meet. I think I'll see how it goes and decide after that.

    Professional ass builder. Ha!

It's cool that you're trying different things. I think that will make you (or anyone) an even better coach than you already are.

I'm excited to see your take on a PL vs WL meet.

    Monday:
    Squat
    Should have been
    235x5x3
    Ended up being
    235x5
    235x3x2
235 felt really heavy and couldn't grind it out. I think I watched too much Grey's Anatomy this weekend and became weaker.

    Bench
    135x5x3

    Power Clean
    170x1x10

    Weighted Chin-ups
    12.5x5x3

    Wednesday:
    Squat
    190x5x2 did these pause squats

    Bench
122.5x3x3 paused 1st rep each set

    Power clean
    Was supposed to be 170x3x5
    Ended up being:
    170x3 pretty bad reps
    170x2
    160x3x3 also kinda shitty

Basically feel like a bag of dicks this week. Quite looking forward to a deload week next week.

    Weighted pull-ups
    12.5x5x3

Could be worse, i.e. a small bag of dicks. Also, the deload will be GLORIOUS.
