I’m a 26 year old high school teacher from Australia. Under the tutelage of the great Jordan Feigenbaum I competed in my first meet back in May of this year and totaled a paltry 495kg at 81kg. Since then, I fell in love with the most beautiful woman, finished university and commenced working as a high school teacher. My training during this time has suffered a period of significant stagnation and the purpose of keeping this log is to help turn that shit around.

    My best competition lifts are:

    Squat: 170kg
    Bench: 112.5kg
    Dead: 212.5kg

I’m not currently a client of Jordan’s, however, I am running the block periodizaton learned while under his guidance. So, I’ve started this next cycle with conservative maxes and am determined to get back on track and start making some serious progress.

    All weights in kilos.

If you can, push the assistance work - even if it's for one or two sets. Try to get the tonnage to move up each week.

Do you mean hitting one or two limit sets, before dropping the weight a bit to complete the remaining sets? I did try and start reasonably light so that I could push the weights up in weeks 2 and 3 of the block.

Correct. You might feel awesome one week or day and complete them all at a higher weight than you think.
