    Got a meet coming up January 24/25. We'll see how it goes. Deadlift has been hovering at 6 since May. Bench is close. Running at modified Russian split for bench so I haven't touched more than 315 for 5 weeks. Getting antsy to see if I do get 105%

    back is sore! went to chiropractor that helped this am. have another appointment friday.

    Squats: 400x5x5. These were mentally tough but looked fast. ugh. I'm just running out of mental gas
    deadlifts: fuck deadlifts. back is sore
    bent over rows: 135x5,5 185x5,5,5

    Just couldn't bring myself to deadlift. back is unhappy. really need to sort this out. having a cord of wood waiting to be stacked isn't helping

    Trained saturday. I was not recovered and nothing went my way. Back is still sore so no Deads.

    Not a good recovery weekend. Feeling drained

    Bench 355x3x4 355x2. Supposed to be 4x4. It wasn't happening. Setup was all shit. Pins in the way, and I was using a rack with Safties so start position was like a partial rep. I felt like 4x4 was in reach just not today not with this rack and not without lift offs

    Press 185x2x6 almost didn't bother cause back is worse today since seeing chiropractor

    Considering bailing on January meet if back doesn't feel better soon.

    Week two of no deadlifts!! Fuck you back

    Didn't have it in me today for 405x5x5. Back is a wreck. Recovery is shot. Disposition is low.
    405x4, 315x5
    Gonna do 405 every day starting today. Spread the volume out. Back feels better after squats. Doesn't hurt while squatting so #squatEveryDay. Figure a 5x5 might be too much at once. Idea is heavy rehab not more pain.

    Seems like this back issue is lingering on. You went to the chiro. Did the chiro have any idea what was going on or did they just make an adjustment without explaining what was wrong?

    It looks like you are at least still functional but it sucks about the back pain. What do you think it is?

    Chiro just adjusted and moved on.

    My low back has been crazy tight recently. Squatting feels ok. Bending over is tricky. I could probably deadlift ok too but touching my toes is no Bueno.

    If I had to guess I've been overly protective since I hurt my back in October , plus two weeks ago I did the c2 rower for cardio. Which usually wrecks my low back. And it did. I chose poorly. Plus I stacked 2 cords of wood after before back felt better.

    I need to do some hip openers and stretch the ham strings I think they are crazy tight. I used to be able to grab my heels with my palms with straight legs. Now I can't even come close to touching my toes.
