Nice to see you started a log here, Dana. It was good to see you this weekend. I am looking forward to following along.
Hi friends,
After lots of motivation from watching Gillian, Rori, Sara and Ellen kill it day in and day out with their training and performances, I've decided it's time for me to put on my big girl pants and get my sh*t together with my training! The last 2 years of training have been inconsistent due to work stress (all mental).
A little about me:
Been a Strength & Conditioning Coach since 2003 based in NYC. SS Coach and am part of Rip's SS Seminar Staff. Other bio stuff on SS Site: http://startingstrength.com/index.php/site/detail/zilber_dana
Did my first and only meet in April 2012.
Weight Class: 148 (I am currently at my heaviest at 167. I walk around at 158 during normal years).
Squat PR: 270 x 3 (October 2013)
Bench PR: 150 x 3 (March 2013)
DL PR: 303 x 1 (April 2012 USAPL Meet)
Press: 130 x 1 (some time in 2013)
Goals:
1) Train Consistently via Linear Progression
2) Drop weight to 148. I am starting to work w/ Jordan this week for max effectiveness
3) PR everything
Luckily, my fiance Justin Varrone is also a Starting Strength Coach and is very consistent with his training and is in competition mode. So it helps!
So here goes. Will be logging my training here. I'm excited for you to join me on my journey!! Special thanks to Rip & Stef for creating such an incredible lifting community.
*PS - Some of you may be wondering why I would be logging my workouts here instead of on my App fitID (my company), but the answer is twofold - 1) You're logging your training here and your support is priceless 2) At fitID, we've decided to pivot our business concept and get away from the whole 'fitness tracking' model and have moved over to a social fitness and discovery model which is going to be part of fitID 2.0 coming in 2015. Check us out www.fitID.com and support us! Yes, that's a plug...*
Nice to see you started a log here, Dana. It was good to see you this weekend. I am looking forward to following along.

Random question: did you used to work at Equinox? Your name does sound familiar.
Hey! Yes I was at Greenwich Ave as a trainer and ran the PT departments at 63rd and Lex and Columbus Circle till 2007 and created the PT Management Training Curriculum that educates all managers at Equinox about PT. So my name is probably still on some documents or perhaps spoken about in conversations. I do miss the peoplez at the 'nox! Which Equinox are you at?
