more than 2.5x body weight, awesome
Both, but I needed about 350 more lbs to get that 600 lb lead, so I don't think being healthy would've been enough.
One more PR than I got. Although we managed to do the same good lift/failed lift pattern.I only managed one more PR. I did the following:
Squat: 375-410-430
Bench (touch-and-go): 265-285-FAIL(300)
Deadlift: 405-500-FAIL(530)
Well, it appears you paused your bench and had no lift-off, so there's a few pounds you'd be able to add to your lead if any rules had been agreed upon in advance. You still moved some excellent weights, even if they weren't PR's. Now it's 2018, so I'll work to close the gap, and you can work to increase it, and hopefully we'll meet back up across the Internets next Christmas/New Year's time and see where we're at.
thanks for the welcome back Skillin.
are you competing end of April in Brooklyn?
I'm on the waiting list for Whippanny in March.
I may forego the Whippany meet because no National records can be given.
I plan on moving to 64kg division and try to set record which is 320 squat.
Looked over your log...impressive. strong as shit
Thanks, Lou! Not competing any time soon. Life has foist some wonderful circumstances upon me, but wonderful circumstances that preclude training the way I'd feel I need to in order to enter a competition. I know you have a 320 squat in you. The Whippany gym in question is where I'm doing my in-person coaching and a good bit of my lifting these days, and the ownership and management are absolutely great people, so you should drop in. The registration is all the way full, but I can ask the management if they have a waiting list and sing your praises if you want to enter just for funsies.
In related news, I'm moving my log to a more appropriate subforum for the time being.
