Talked to a former powerlifter at the gym today. He is the same guy that got me to order my first belt.
Apparently he used to train with Ricky Crain and is still good friends with him! We talked about lifting for about 30 minutes or soafter training today.

Well I found out why I have felt really shitty the past three days. I felt really bad last night so I took my temperature and it was 100°. So decided I would go to the doc in the box this morning. The fever was up to 102° And apparently i have a horrible sinus infection. I was given a shot and some antibiotics.
I am very frustrated with this whole situation, I just started a new program and I don't know what to do with regards to working out. I don't know if I should at least try to do the bare minimum and just do the 5/3/1 work and call it a day. Any advice would be very helpful

Update: I finally broke my fever today, on day 6. Turns out I had/have a stomach bug, ear infection and sinus infection.
The only thing now is I have no voice and have constant drainage going down my throat. And the worst news is that my bodyweight dropped from 203 all the way down to 188. I feel/look so small right now…

Wow man that sounds pretty terrible. I know how that can be, especially the dehydration. Hope you can recover swiftly.

Decided to give lifting a go today and I freaking made it through, despite coughing every 5 damn seconds. I'll probably repeat this cycle due to all the interuptions.
    Cycle 1 week 3
    Squat
    260x5
    295x3
    330x1
    Shrugs 3x15

    And that's all folks.
