Nice! Good to see you up here.
I’ve decided to start a new log here, since at some point I seem to have made a habit of actually competing. My old log is here.
Age - 25
Height - 6'4"
Weight - 245 lbs
PRs:
Squat - 540
Bench - 336 (competition), 355 (gym)
Deadlift - 639
Press - 245
Clean and Jerk - 350
Snatch - 255
I’ve just started working with Jordan for programming and nutrition, and I think taking my programming out of my own hands will help me progress and hopefully avoid further injury. My next meet is the Badger Open on 11 June.
And just to show that this is a completely serious thread:
Nice! Good to see you up here.
Impressive numbers, and your best days are still ahead. Keep up the strong work!!
Monday, 11 April
Squat: 405x4@7.5, 415x4@8, 425x4@9.5
Bench: 260x4@7, 270x4@8, 280x4@9
DB Incline: 65x7@7, 75x7@8, 90x7@9
Overshot a little on squats, but that's alright. I haven't squatted heavy since the meets three weeks ago, so I should have expected things to feel heavier. Benching felt fine, though dumbbell incline was a bit hard to rate. I don't have much experience there, but I'll get it dialed in.
For my high-carb days, Jordan's got me eating 650g of carbs with only 230g of protein. I used up 18% of my protein calories on rice today. This will take some getting used to as well.
Cereal bro. Cereal
I agree, I watched Jordan's nutrition seminar and he said the word cereal, I said, ok! Of course he did mention to get your fiber first lol. Honey bunches of oats with honey gets me tons of carbs very quickly when needed without crazy filling me up.
