    I don't think the DL was so bad, you did increase the weight. Heat and the beach can take a toll on energy.
    As for me graining weight, it wouldn't be that hard for me. I do try to watch myself in that area, since I know my BP goes up if I gain weight. Recently my Dr. told me he wanted to get me on Lipitor because my CHL numbers were a little high. I did refuse, I will try to watch what I eat. From what I read here on SS the meds are not a good idea.

    Hi Jerry. I have cut weight successfully at times with various strategies. What has been the most enjoyable is the 5/2, which is all i use now. 2 days of starving, and the rest of the days you can enjoy any food you fancy. They say that in the fast period, the body rumages around for any junk to consume, so your blood profile improves.

    Nice work as always. I had my 12yo grandson in my garage yesterday, he did sqts,bp,power cleans and pulldowns. Of course he wanted to do some bi and tri work too.

    I can't imagine how that must feel. The climate where i live is classed as Mediterraneum, and doesn't get freezing cold or intolerably hot. The summer temp (like now) averages 29 degrees C, max [84.2 F]. It does'nt get above 43 degrees [109.4 F]. We have an ocean right by us, which keeps temperatures pretty stable.
    I have always loved Americans, who in WW2 fought and died alongside us, and kept us from being overrun by the brutally murdering Japanese, who were several times worse than the race-exterminating Germans. All last year, and now, i follow US news programs, grieving over the death toll caused by that liar - 'Democratic hoax' - The doctors don't know nothin - Don't mask - Don't social distance. There will be half a million dead, most of that toll needless.
    So i am well aware of the absolutely freezing weather across the US. A lot of our country gets wild fires and floods, just like yours.
